whats is a 48 inch deck worth?
There is a local 48 inch cub mower deck on ebay but he wants $175. IMHO I think thats a bit high. Is the 48 inch common or rare?

what I think
I'm new on here but the 48 on my 1450 is a really nice size deck to have if you have a lot of hills were you are using it. if the deck needs no work that is a good price but check shipping costs they can kill a deal. check on the cost of the parts to rebuild one it is not cheap. have fun:bigthink:

I have a few of these rare 48"ones,they are not that rare.Do you what model it is?I do have one for sale and none wants it even for $50.00.

I had a QA 48" deck for sale at a swap meet this spring. I marked it $20 and included the belts and the mule drive. I had no takers. It went to the scrap yard. So i would say $175 is a lot of bit high.

Can't find a 48" deck around here anywhere, very hard to come by. The only one I ever had was on a 149 I had several years ago. :bash2::bash2: knowing what I know now I had no idea I had such a good cub.

That is high IMHO. The 48 inch decks are harder to find in nice shape, especially in my area. I just sold a nice one a couple weeks ago, QA setup that was on a 149 for $75.

The deck has a lot of surface rust. Not worth $175 imho. Of course he has a best offer option. It's been on ebay for weeks so maybe he would take a very low bid.
Here is the ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/Cub-Cadet-48-mow...item19c3900af9 Notice in the photo the other cub decks in the background AND cultivators! |
walk away
