oil for cub cadet
 

hey guys, what oil do you guys use in your cub kohler? what grade and what brand? thanks jrr cub:bigthink::confused2.gif":Help::HeadScratch::Hu h:

I run 30 weight rotella T. It is great oil and has a good additive package for these old engines.

I also run either the Rotella T SAE 30 or sometimes I use NAPA SAE 30 or 40. If the NAPA brand is on sale, I'll stock up on it.

I also use Shell Rotella SAE 30. I get mine at walmart but any auto parts store should have it. I also buy mine by the gallon for $12.50.

+1 for everyones comments about the Shell Rotella SAE30...I've been using it for years.

I use Olive oil,love that Italian cooking.All kidding aside 30w Rotella T or the NAPA 30w non detergent.

I use Valvoline 30w.

Im the oddball. I use castrol 10-40 in mine all year long. I change it often, based on frequency of use, but most times about 3-4 month spans.

I use Texaco Havoline 10W-30 with deposite shield in my cubs all year long.
