My first time out on the 125

Well I made my maiden run Sunday on the 125, it didn't go as good as I wanted, we had a few gliches along the way. But it was some nice seat time anyway. Felt good, well most of it:bigthink:

I agree, according to the pics it looks like it went perfectly along with the beautiful landscape!

It seemed like there was no power when I got in the thicker grass, almost like the gov. wasn't working right, or at all. Then it would snub out and I couldn't get it running again until it cooled down.
The first time it stopped the wife pulled me back to the shop so I could get off with her tractor (huskvarna) that sucked. It was like vacume locked, I cracked the gas line and it fired up, and I went back at it, and it happend again. Checked the gas cap and it was working fine, little damp at the hole so I'm thinking it's not holding vacume in the tank, or am I going in the wrong direction?
I have no idea how to check the gov. from the seat while putting a load on it to see if it's working or not. Sitting next to it while running and turning o the mower it seems to work. I checked it's adjustment and it seems fine:bigthink:
Any idea? or am I hopeless?

my 127 used to die once it got good and warm, I would have to wait till it cooled down. I ended up changing the condenser and coil and it's been all good since.

Did it seem like it lacked in power also?
This one seems to like oil also, mind you. I picked it out of a barn after sitting for who knows for how many years. And I know nothing about this tractors history, it may have been abused in it's long life but I'm thinking I will get to know it personally, internally come winter:bash2:

I Had the same thing on my 109, it had a non-resistor coil on it. Changed the coil and condensor and all is good.

To check the gov, watch the throttle shaft, it should open when you get it in a load. The throttle has to be very free for it to work correctly. I have learned these things the hard way. Someone here that has much better knowledge will give some expert advice, this is just what I had.

Great looking place you have!! Was 89 here yesterday and I was cutting some wood, wish I needed a jacket instead.
