149 steering
 

The new 149 I have is missing the top bearing in the steering column, the one at the steering wheel. Is there a bearing that can be picked up at a local hardware that will work? I would have to order one from the CC dealer if not, they don't carry many items for these older tractors here. I would like to get it done tomorrow but will order it if there isn't a generic part out there somewhere.

If you have a front wheel bearing that you aren't using, that'll work...

If it's any help to you, I have ten brand new metal bearings specifically for that purpose in a bag laying right here on my desk, $7.50 each plus shipping.

Thanks for the offer, but I found one laying in a box that I didn't know I had. Sometimes you just get lucky!
