Torque/HP in gas v. diesel

Does anyone know what the torque numbers are for the diesel and gas engines that were OEM for Cub Cadets? I'm just wondering what the numbers were. Also wondering why IH didn't have more diesels earlier.

I did a quick search and found nothing, so if there's already a thread on this, please let me know.
