1872 Grill Mod
 

I just got the Cub Cadet “bug” when I was given this 1872.
I would say that at some point the muffler has been replaced on this tractor, or some this else is askew. The “tailpipe” if you will , was apparently too long and was right up against the grill and had been for quite a while as it had worn into the backside of the grill. So I could have cut the “tailpipe” off but that’s way to easy!

Next mod ... rear weight box with receiver hitch , stay tuned

Could have heated it up also and bent it to fit in between the openings... but if its the stock muffler there is no reason why it could be made to fit where it was meant to...

Yea I don't know ... the grill was actually cracked in 2 places where it had worn thru.
I know it goes against keeping it original , but I guess now I can certainly id "MY" tractor.
