I read numerous threads, but just got permission to totally have access to attachments and comments. Searched and couldn't find an answer so far.
My deck adjustments lever is suppose to adjust every 1/4. You put a pin in and the lever is suppose to lock on the pin. Well mine locks on the back holes, but not the front holes. The lock looks o.k., not worn.
Is there an adjustment or did I get a lemon.
1st outing, drive belt came off. With a lot of luck, I finally got it back on. A great way to learn about your new mower.
2nd time, I put on a mulching kit, removed the deck, not an easy task. Found rear deck release pins, 1 on inside and 1 on the outside of arms (odd). But the new blades cut so clean and smooth.

So far, front end doesn't seem too smooth, rough rolling. and on a slope if you back up, the front wheels will leave the ground for a second.

I had a 2011 non commercial version with fab'd deck. I was suddenly way faster than my lawn. Short wheelbase coupled to a solid front end was a kidney shaking situation. The mower could go faster than my body could stand. Yes , once in a while a front wheel would leave terra firma in certain situations.

And the deck. That sum beach would not discharge well at all. Scraped a 5 gallon pail full from underneath the deck every other time I mowed. :bash2:

At least yours has the better seat. Mine had a standard garden tractor seat. Only put up with that unit for 2 years and then peddled it.

Not sure what your deck pin height issue is. If I remember right there were two vertical rows of holes? Double check with your manual. That should explain it.

Good luck with yours.
