Glow Plugs

I did some searching for the various parts for my 782D and was on the hunt for the glow plugs. I came across this site, it's kind of a hard one to find information on. So here is the link for the plugs, I hope this helps anyone else.

Those are the standard plug I think everyone uses. If you want a better and hotter plug use a Y702R. They are more money, but with everything else you get what you pay for.

Earl, on the original design of the gp circuit in start and pre-heat mode, the power goes out on terminal #19 of the key switch, through the indicator and back to terminal #17 on the key switch and then to the gp's. (terminal #17 is a dummy terminal)

All that the dash indicator does is glows red hot from all the amps that the gp's pull. The original gp's don't get 12 volts because of this indicator and the voltage drop it causes. The new gp's need the full 12 volts and this indicator causes a voltage drop and robs power to them.

With the new gp's in the machine you will need to take the indicator out, move the orange wire off of #17 and move it to #19 and then use the orange wire that powered the gp's to energize the gp solenoid.
