Forum information search needs improvement!
When searching for specific information about tractor models, parts etc...I get a barrage of information from posts seemingly unrelated to what I am looking for. When I'm unable to find what I need to know, I usually (reluctantly) search other sites for the information.
Perhaps information relating to the various tractor models could be categorized for simplicity to quickly find what one is looking for. For example: 1450: tire size or 1450: drive shaft or 1641: fuel pump etc.:bigthink: Being able to quickly find the information you need is very helpful when working on a specific model tractor at various stages of completion.:biggrin2: |
Try this, go to Google, and search for:
onlycubcadets.net 1450 tire size I've been searching forums this way for years! :) usually works much better than the forums own built-in search. Scot |
Hey Scotsman...
Thanks for the suggestion to search the onlycubcadets.net website with google to find information. What a great idea! I hope other members try this to quickly get valuable information that is often buried in the many posts on the website.:beerchug: |
The "search engine" from this site is part of the Software we use by VBulletin. I have NO control over that feature. I do acknowledge that it has some issues. After reading Scotsman post, it got me to thinking. I am looking into another alternative to see if we can have something better.
