Plastic stapler ?
 

Recently came across a guy showing some golf cart body repairs he made using a "hot stapler". Apparently you can get them from Amazon and Ebay for around $40. Just thinking they may be the ticket for repairing all the plastic hoods and fenders that have now become so common on lawnmowers and farm tractors. My 2284 has a couple cracks that could stand repairing before they get too big.
