Cub Cadet 147 value?

I have moved to a smaller place and I have more tractors than I will ever be able to refurbish. So it will be hard, but I think I will sell a couple.I am a gear drive type of guy,so I may sell a couple of hydrostatic drive tractors.
I have a Cub Cadet 147 that needs restoring. You can see the details in the pictures. Good fiberglass dash,it has headlights, electric lift, the tractor seems to be complete. I would like to get some opinions on a fair asking price. I realize it all depends on what someone is willing to give. So what do you think.:bigthink: |
What else comes with it?
What works and what don't? Outside in the elements for how long? As an example: Mine was $300 and it came with a snow thrower and 48" deck several years ago and I had it running and driving within an hour after unloading it. |
It is not running,,,,as in nothing works at this time. That is why I said it needs restoring.
It has been under a tarp for about 5 years since I have had it. Before I got it,it was outside for I don't know how long. I probably have a mowing deck and mule drive/undercarriage for it. |
Tim, you've been on the forum for a while and know they are worth more in parts than together. You also know lots of factors affect price, like area, extras, condition, and running vs. nonrunning. As a nonrunner, in my area, I would say $150-$200 and if it was running, $300-$400. The lights in it will bring good money (if I had time to work on my old cubs, I'd offer you $$ for those lights--and I have a set or two of them sitting around someplace??) and if it has a 3 point, that will bring some decent money. Best wishes on your sale.
