Finding the illusive 364 snow blower
I finally found a rare Cub Cadet 45" 190-364-100 snow blower but there is a catch...The PTO adapter is for 82 series tractors ( Model 419) and I own 2 QL series who needs a 418 PTO adapter to work with this snow blower.
Looking at the parts chart I see few problems who can be resolved with luck or big headache backyard engineering. I post the manual page who clearly indicate in yellow and blue all the parts who need to be exchange and I circle in red the parts who can't be purchase from MTD anymore. Here the list of parts I need to convert the PTO adapter to a model 418: (5) 784-5070 Idler Brk't. 1.5 x 4.5in. Lg. (418) (6) 756-0137 Fl.-ldler w/Flanges 2.25in. O.D. (418) (7) 738-0609 Shld. Spacer .680 Dia. x .170 (418) (12) 756-0442 5/8in. Pulley .790in. I.D. x 7.0in. O.D. (418) (19) 784-5065 PTO Support Brk't. (418) I didn't contact any sponsor yet, so if any of you got those parts or a 418 PTO adapter laying around you can sell, please let me know. Since you all like pictures, I post the only one the seller give me, as soon I get the snow blower I drop some more. http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/...illoux/364.png http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDUwWDgwMA...WN3E7/$_27.JPG |

Zombie thread, but what's the deal w/ the 364? It looks like a 450 or 451 is an improvement, let alone a 550/551.
I thought the one on the 984 I'm looking at was homemade/added to the tractor at first due to the sub frame. |
