Turning radius on a 1450

I was thinking if anyone could give me some advice (or if it can be done) on how to modify the steering on a 1450 to increase the turning radius.

Get a super steer front axle from a 1440 and a 3 turn steering box.

I'd say to shave down the little stubs on the axles that the spindles stop against. I know that once you go past the stops, the steering gets more difficult to turn back to center. But that's just a guess.

Thanks Tim for the response. Now to find the parts. Is it pretty straight forward on installing, or is there tricks I need to know?

It's pretty straight forward but the super steer axle will make the front of the tractor sit a little higher so you will need to adjust the deck.

Is it to "increase" or actually decrease the radius of the turn???

Another thing I've always thought about doing was welding a piece to the arm on the steering box to extend it and give it more throw, then modify the axle and spindles so the turn tighter.
