Zero Turn running difficult

Hi all,

I have a 5 year old zero turn mower with a Koehler 7000 series 25 horse engine. This season has been running very rough and stalls frequently whether under load or not.

At times needs choke pulled to run, but even then will sporadically stall.

I’ve added some sea foam 2-3 ounces to see if that clears it up but so far no luck.

I’m going to change the air filter, other than that any thoughts or suggestions? I know I need a tune up, but this time of year I need my mower.

Thanks in advance.

Barry

Sounds like it is time to pull the Carb and do a thorough cleaning and/or install a Carb Rebuild Kit.

Thanks for the welcome. I’m not mechanical inclined. I’ve thought it maybe the carburetor. Are there any good tutorial videos on YouTube or elsewhere you might recommend.

Thanks again!

How many hours on your zero turn?

When was the last time the air and fuel filter change?

How old is the fuel? Not a big fan of sea foam....it causes more problems than it solves.

When was the last time the spark plugs change?
