I've just got another cub its a 128. Are these tractors suppose to be red or did someone paint it? Thanks!

Well, when IH was developing the Original They Had considered a choice of Colors, either federal Yellow and White or IH red and White. Even IH consider costume colors as well Hood, seat On an IH white painted tractor similar to what Deere did Later with the Patio Models in the early 1970s One of the Original test models was Painted In IH red and re Painted Before it went out to be a test Model I forget which One Mr Stevenson(IH test engineer) told Me of the Original 10 models made.

Mr Stevenson IN-laws actually had one of the 10 test Models (at their 10 acre Farm In Elk Grove, IL) and I Know that was Federal Yellow & white He In ended Up Giving the Tractor to The original IH design engineer Harold Schram In 2003 or 2004 Boy that was in rough condition as a renter of the Farm sold it to a Neighbor in the subdivision next door without Permission and Mr Stevenson got it Back in a Pile of Parts which he put back together.

So Using a IH red On a wide Frame wouldn't Necessarily be a Bad thing.

How about IH red on a 125? Mine could use a paint job, but I had to rebuild the K301 first.

I'm new to cubs so whats the differance in wide body and the slim models? Is my 128 a wide body? Thanks!
