Another Newbie
 

Hi.

I'm new to this forum, Cub Cadet ownership, and riding mower use.

Last May, I acquired a LTX-1042, made around 2010 according to the model number, that had been re-engined with a Kohler CV15. I've replaced the front wheels and tires, rear tires, blades, belts, battery, oil, ignition module, filters, PTO cable, and replaced the spark plug. I did a tune up. After I worked out all the bugs from the negligent previous owners, it starts, runs, and cuts great. I'm mowing about 5/8 acre, and it's nice to graduate from a self propelled walk behind mower, since I'm turning 72 this week.
