Hello im 69Cub124

Hey i would like to say a bit about myself i came here so i could find some valuable information for whenever i hit a road block with my 1969 Cub Cadet 124 restoration

i have 4 tractors

a 1999 Scott's S1642 which is actually a re badged John Deere Sabre that has been modified into a mud mower this was my first tractor inspired me to continue owning tractors

a 1966 John Deere 60 lawn mower with a 2001 7 hp Briggs and Stratton pressure washer engine

this one has a long story with my ownership of it when i went to get my cub cadet that was given to me about 3 years before i actually got the tractor i saw this tractor and thought " hey i got a motor for that!" so i ended up bringing home 2 tractors i had worked on the John Deere first that ended up getting the nick name "Baby JD" for its tiny size after modifying the mounting space to fit a Briggs pressure washer engine that i pulled from a pressure washer that past spring i ended up successfully piecing the tractor together but i actually didn't drive it until early October this year because well... life got in the way i ended up putting it back together and drove it for the first time i drove it a lot after that fact id drive it to my grandmas (who isn't far from where my tractors are ) to help with garbage and yard-work i also would drive it since its my "classy" i ended up making a idiotic choice of driving it back to the house during a FLASH FLOOD!!!! i know im crazy it only gets better while the engines mounting bolts were loose and i didn't know at the time the pulley was also loose after driving through watered out roads i ended up making it home safely and once i made it through the door karma said "Hi idiot!" and the pulley flew out from under it i have put the tractor back together but i am storing it for the winter

now for my one Cub cadet

my 1969 Cub Cadet 124

she was well optioned too she has a 3 speed gear transmission with a sweet cherry on top the rare creeper gear option wheel weights in the rear a 12 HP Kohler K301 engine and a nice sized mower deck but sadly thats the only part of the tractor i couldnt save so i ended up scrapping that but the tractor was basically complete as you can get for sitting in a field for years it does not have a rear PTO though i am in the process of restoring this tractor it is currently stripped to the frame sitting on jack stands

a 2010 John Deere la105

5 speed manual 42 inch deck 19.5 hp Briggs not much to say here its about to go on 400 hours and runs very good for being 11 years old but this one is actually my dads tractor and i kinda just take care of it for him

Well then that's quite a greeting isn't it?
