1512 Is Under The Weather
The alternator went out on the 1512 over the week. Got a new one ordered, and hope to have the diesel going again soon! Sure miss riding it! :beerchug:

Allen,
I am sure you will get her up and running again in no time. In the mean time. All the battery is needed for with that engine is the fuel solenoid. Stick an old battery in, jump it, and go for a ride if you really start missing her! Just dont try to run lights or pto |

What will they think of next! Next thing ya know they will have 'injins without pistons, and we will be spanking our wankels :biggrin2: |

I would, Coop. But the bearing was freezing up, causing a heck of a squeal...lol!

Don't burn the belt you will have to move the motor forward to det the driveshaft off to replace the belt. With the cv joint conversion you can take the driveshaft out without moving the motor.

Thanks Mike, I shut it off quickly, and pushed it to the shed. I did try to start it, the next day and the starter was too weak to turn it over.

No fuel solenoid on a D600 and she won’t run without the fuel pump. Hope you get the 1512 up and running soon AC.

Thanks Todd! I sure hope so, too. I need some help with it. Things are so close on the engine, and I can't see it well.
