Cub Cadet 127 Worth It?

Hi everyone!

I am looking at a 127 that the guy says has been totally gone through, fluids changed and tuned up. Has aftermarket independent front and rear hydraulics. Comes with front dirt/snow plow (totally redone), rear hitch, tiller attachment with gear box, mower deck, mule drive and spare engine (not seized/good compression).

The guy is looking for around $1400 for the entire set up. Is it worth it?

I see a $400 tractor (and that's pushing it) but not $1000 in hydraulics.

While it might be handy if one needs such, I concur with Oak on the price.
Someone knew what they wanted, and went about building it.
"A labor of love" if you will.
That has no bearing on the value of something.

The term "it's all been rebuilt" is a tired term with no definition.
A rattle can or a high dollar paint job has no bearing of the working condition.
To some a few new or used parts and gaskets or RTV and/or paint means "all rebuilt"
To others it means totally remanufactured with all moving parts either replaced or renewed to new condition, not just cleaned and reassembled,
either way, going current market price usually is "what it is worth"

:bigthink: Not gonna say I haven't sold a less desirable one for more than $400... But then again, I have purchased nicer ones for less.:biggrin2:

I'd like to give that steering wheel a turn (or two,) just to see how far it goes until the wheels actually move and the axle goes back and forth!

That's usually a good way to determine whether or not it's been "all gone through"!

Too much "cobble craft" to snag clothing etc. going on there for me.

And what's up with the what looks to be an electric lift clevis on the blade lift bracket??

What caught my eye was the attachments and the hydraulics with a machine that wasn't totally rusted out in New England.

I keep hearing that the unit is around $450ish, but how much SHOULD I be looking at for a set up like this with all of the attachments?

It looks set up for a hydraulic lift on that side.
