International lover, interested in the cadet

Hi there, I am Manfred Range, born /raised in Grande prairie, Alberta, Canada, and living in Creston, B.C.,Canada. I have been invited here by Tyler "young enthusiast". in my 58 years I have seen numerous Cub cadets and somehow they stood out ahead of the pack, JD, being a close second, no offense intended. I think the bold front design and the yellow did them well. Now I got glimpses of the plowathon and I saw a more meaty side to the machines. Plowing matches always were the ultimate testing areas. i know, I aint seen nuthin' yet, so I must attend one of these matches. In true form, I oughta show up in my International B-120 4x4 short stepside.

The above link shows my work truck doing some 'light work". looking forward to meeting some of you guys. PTL

Thanks guys!

I've been taking care of peoples lawns (but,...always over and above my regular work) for many years. at one time While working at my lumbermill as a trimmer, I'd come home and hitch the wagon and tend to several of 22 weekly tended customers! I got pretty tired pushing that lawnmower, but I always maintained I wanted to do it by leg work only, keeping the business very simple.
Maybe it's time for my cub cadet mower? I only have 6 customers now, but somehow, as I approach retirement, a ride-on seems appropo.
give me some time and money, and maybe I'll be yet one more contestant over in Sibbald at the plowing match. Heck, it would load up on top of it's cousin real well, don't you think? PTL, mANFRED

I need to learn more.

I don't know a lot about these little tractors, and yours, (allen) seems to be a bit of a bigger model. The tires seem bigger, more like a regular tractor look.
This seems to be a very good place to pre discover all the possibilities within the lineup over the years. obviously several models and lineups varied over the years. The more I look, the more I want to get me one of them. Manfred.

Literature is always good

Thanks for the tip. An International library wouldn't be complete without Cub Cadet books.

I think I found one!

hi again! I haven't been active for awhile, but I guess I needed to find one of these guys. I did! in my home town, no less,..and for $50.00. It doesn't seem to have any parts, but runs good, the lady says. I cannot see these people often, so she said she'd keep it for me. It looks early 60--ish and I think is a 102. I'll post some more once I find these people at home.
