Cadplan loader build - 1512

Been a busy summer. In the final stage of a loader build for my 1512.

Starting running loader on the tractor hydraulics but just added separate hydraulic system for it. Belt driven pump.

Only remaining it is a skid plate to protect the pump.

Just picked up a ton of wood pellets. Was able to test the loader.

I was able to lift 400 lbs (10 bags) with the loader but rear wheels quickly lost traction. Top picture.

Rear tires are loaded and I have 75 lb wheel weights on each side.

Seemed that just under 300 lbs (7 bags) worked well with current tractor setup. Second picture.

Due to bucket size it was tough to even get the 7 bags balanced.

That looks great.
I am slowing working on one for my 1863.
I will use a belt or shaft driven pump also.
What pump did you use?

The single arm loader doesn’t require that much hydraulic volume.

I used this pump. This pump is available in multiple sizes but the key feature is the shaft supports a side load (ie belt driven).

I also used the split taper pulley. Really locked well onto the pump shaft.

I see you have upgraded the Front spindles also.

I have the stuff to fix mine also.

I upgraded the front bearings years ago. Actually found the upgrade on ebay.

Works well!

Thanks! Yes this should be nice for snow removal.

While this one is almost done my project list continue to grow.

Bring a 104 back to life. K241 kohler is at machine shop.
Modify trailer to have hydraulic dump.
Thinking about small logging winch out of scrap parts I have.
