Carb Repair

I just got my I have a 2005 ZForce 44" back from the shop. They told me that the carb was leaking and needed a carb kit. They also quoted $700 for the repair even though the part was only $50. I have 2 questions:

1) What is the "Carb Kit" they are talking about

2) Why in the world is it an 8 hour repair to install it

$700 to rebuild a carb? I could say a lot of X rated things but I'll be nice, go find a new shop. :biggrin2:
