LT 1040 PTO not engaging properly
My LT1040 doesn't engage the blades properly. the spindles and belt are new. The lever which engages the blade is a bit bent and doesn't pull the cable forward properly. I am going to replace the cable as well. but not sure how to get the lever out .
Wonder if anyone has seen this before?? If anyone has a trick to get the lever out, please advise. I'm hoping it's not as difficult as it looks. |

Isn't it that the lever/engages an idler to keep the belt tight? ? Are you talking Part #42? https://www.partstree.com/parts/cub-...-1c097h-after/ |
I had a similar situation with my Z-turn and found out it was just a bad safety switch. Replaced all 3 of those boogers and no more problem.
