I'm new and about to buy my first tractor ever
 

Hey Everyone!

I've been looking for a Cub Cadet for over a month now. This will be my first tractor ever. I finally found one that I can buy and today I will be going to pick it up. I look forward to meeting everyone online and contributing (or asking lots of questions) as I work to restore and use my new tractor. I'm a little superstitious about talking about the tractor itself too much before I have it back home, but I can't wait to share everything tomorrow! I'm so glad I found this forum! I know you all will be much help! You already have been! Thank you!

I can do better than that. I am now the owner of a cub cadet 149! woo, woo! Now I need to learn everything I can about this very heavy, very loud, very tough looking tractor! So I will be starting on this site and doing whatever I need to do to get the basics done. The gentleman I purchased it from was more than fair and I have lots of parts to work with. I've already cranked it up and driven it around the yard. I'm quite excited about all of the possibilities! But I want to get all of the basics done before driving it too much. So, I'll start reading asap (lots going on, so I'll have to do all of this slowly), but I'm sure I'll learn much over the next few weeks or so.
