1250 zero turn
Does any body have any ideas on how to turn a 1250 in to a zero turn?

First, welcome to OCC.
Interesting concept. There would be a lot of engineering and fabrication involved. |
If you use the brakes to steer you won’t need to change the hydrostatic transmission

Change the transmission

Remove the steering gear, replace the front spindles with caster wheels like on the front of a grocery cart only bigger.
build separate brake pedals for the rear brakes so you can steer it with the brakes, one brake pedal on either side You will very quickly discover it is a bad/crazy idea. But it will keep you busy for a while. Better idea, buy a real zero turn of your choice and budget!:beerchug: |
And since you will be steering with your feet you can have a beer in each hand. :beer2:

Maybe you can take some ideas from these...
|
Sell it and use that money towards a product engineered for that purpose...

Sounds like yet another Cub may soon be on it's way to Cobble Craft Heaven (AKA scrap pile).!
Where do you guys get these crazy ideas anyway?? |
