New guy in Tennessee

Hey guys. New to these parts. This is second cub. My first was a 108. The new one is a 3225. Man what a difference. I've been mowing with a 54" Husquvarna, the 3225 is like a Lincoln Town Car.

I found the 3225 on my local craigslist for cheap. 500 hours, flat tires, didn't run when I picked it up. It has the Kohler CH22S and 60" deck. So here I am at the sellers house with a trailer and no way to turn the wheels, raise the deck or get it on the trailer..... i break out an old ratchet strap and get the deck up as far as i can. Me and the seller get it turned around and pointed towards the trailer and we start pushing. Finally get it loaded because his wife looks at us and says, "Boys why don't you use the Polaris to pull it up on the trailer before you fat old guys have a heart attack". Needless to say the Polaris worked great.

The first problem i found was the spark advance module. So i replaced the coils and removed the spark advance system. Had to pull the engine to get to those bad boys. Upon removing the shroud, there was a family of mice that had gotten stuck in there so we had a brief funeral for them and went back to work. So now it has new magneto's and is all cleaned up. Put it all back together and it got new oil, plugs, air and fuel filters. It will start but seems like it is hesitating and won't run up to full throttle. Pulled the carb and tore down. It looked like the previous owner had used ethanol and left it sit for years. Got it all cleaned out and rebuilt. Now it runs like a champ. Still need to find a bunch of parts.

Thanks for letting me join, looks to be a lot of good info around here.
