Hello from MD with two Cubs

Hello all.

Just got a couple Cubs given to me that I think are worth some TLC. Red one 682 has the 17hp series 2 and the other I think is 1810 with Magnum 18 and 44” deck. Will the deck interchange between them? The 1810 is missing the carb so have to find one.
All in all think will be a fun project.

Thanks All, Patrick

Need to tow them out of the woods

From what I have read so far just go really slow while towing. Anything else I need do so I don’t mess up the hydro system?

Don't know the history or how far you plan to tow these tractors.

I need to tow them about 40 yards before I can winch them on my trailer and from my research they do not have a hydro release lever so you must tow them very slow or with the backend raised.

That is correct.

Think I've read on here to push no faster than a toddler can walk; which should be slow. Never had issues pushing mine around (782).
