Thx ole'George. We are in the test section, but I'll reply all the same.
I do agree with your thinking that the sprocket needs to be thinner. It may be an optical illusion because of the increased diameter. The original sprocket is 12t. I made mine 20t for clearance of the motor. The sprocket thickness is identical to the original. (0.200") Unlike some others, this runs along the same center line as original to keep full locks the same left to right and the motor is less in the stream of flowing crystalline di-hydrogen oxide. |
