Cub 1650 K341 overhaul shop?
Howdy folks! I'm pretty sure it's a long shot, but I would like to find a shop that can rebuild my K341 and maybe add a little more pep in her step. It's going to be my regular worker for mowing and other small farm duties I need.
I live near Houston, and it seems most machine shops down here don't do small engine work so I figured I'd ask here. I called Vogels and Lakota and both are fully booked for the time being. Any other suggestions from the Cadet world? Thanks! |

My thoughts would be if you have a chance of finding someone it will
be in one of the smaller towns. Where folks still care about stuff like small engines. The more people live there the less help seems to be available. I hope you find someone. It's a tough chore finding help. Ken |

I still haven't gave up looking around here for a shop. I can definitely do the assembly part, just not the machining. The folks up north have it made as far as Cub Cadet/Kohler/GT pulling stuff! |

waiting a month for a bore diameter from my small town machinist. I called and found out he did not remember who I was or what the job was I hired him to do. I guess he didn't remember the 3 prior conversations either. I hope you are having better luck then I. This world is wearing thin. Ken |
Well.....
I got lucky and found a machine shop couple of towns over that has a Cub cadet collector as a customer. They are familiar with Kohlers so I will be rebuilding this one myself. And maybe do a lil hot roddin lol.
Was there a place I could send the cam to get reground for a lil more performance? |
That is great news. Hope it all goes well. Keep us up on the proceedings.
