Kohler CH22S Smokes on Start up
My 3206's engine only smokes on start up, the longer it sits, the more it smokes when started. After that, no white smoke at all.
Does this most likely mean the valve stem seals need to be replaced ? |
You said white smoke, right? Oil some is more a blueish color.

After posting here, I then saw the Kohler engines sub forum. Guess I should have placed it there. |
Bad head gasket, valve seals or even worn out rings can cause oil smoke. You will just have to take the engine apart and see what you find. Only way to diagnose that issue.

See if it fouls one spark plug more than the other. Mike
