Well the 782/784 is back in business. After a little work, lol. Let's see I replaced all the tins except the hood and tunnel cover, replaced the wheels and tires, replaced the front axle and steering linkage, replaced and rebuilt the column, replaced the seat, the fire wall, the gas tank, replaced the wiring harness, all the gauges, the ignition, grill casting, grill, head lights, rebuilt the carb, all new fluids, and oh yea put the 18 mag in it. I still need to get tuned up better it only want's to run with the choke closed, but it's running pretty good as is. I'll tinker with it later and see if I can get it to run with ot the choke on. All in all I think see's starting to look like a tractor again.:biggrin2: Here's a little before and after for you guys. Now I just need a power angle blade for it.

That's awesome, Eric! Glad you got her going again!

Nice work Eric:beerchug: Good looking cub, where did you get your seat from??

juniors1282 04-08-2011 09:01 PM

Jude that seat was on the 1806 I parted out. Some one on here posted a link for the covers for that style seat. I'm going to order a couple of them, I need one for the 582 and it never hurts to have one sitting around just incase. I really want to find a nice 6 pad seat for the 582, but that easier said then done. Oh Thanks, I think I'm going to like this one alot :biggrin2:.

Excellent!! Looks great as all of your tractors do.

juniors1282 04-09-2011 09:24 AM

Thanks guys. It not going to rain today :beer2:, I'm going to get it out and run it around some this afternoon. I'll get some shot's of it running around later. Worked on it last night and have it runnng at about half choke and it purr's like a kitten. I'll run it for awhile and see if she cleans out some more.

Jeff, this one fell into my lap, hehehe. You need another one to catch up. You should come down when Jude come's and tag along with us to the plowday. That way you could pick up the little tractor and have it to work on this summer.:biggrin2: I'm going to try and pull the "O" out of the corner this afternoon and I'll pull the cable off it and send it and the tank to ya this week. I didn't forget I just couldn't get to it with all the junk in the way, lol.
