Picked up some Implements Today

Attachment 8897 Attachment 8898 Attachment 8899 Attachment 8900 Here are some attachments I picked up today, got them all for $300.00. I don't know if that is good or bad, but I thought it was fair. The snow plow came off a 1650 tractor and is bad need of a good sandblasting, need the lift rod for it, needs skid shoes, and a new cutting edge. The brinly stuff is in good shape, for some reason the disk has had florescent orange paint shot on it (easier to find, I guess). The plow has part or model number on a tag 70-212, the cultivator and disk have no markings on them. I know it is kind of putting the horse behind the cart, I have no sleeve hitch for my tractor yet, have to get one ordered...it is a 149. This is my first attempt at pics so I hope it worked! |
Congrats on your attachments! :beerchug:

Nice to get that all in one shot. A little sandblasting and paint and you'll be ready for planting.

Hmm that plow and disk dont look to good, might have to send them down to me to take care of! :biggrin2: Just kidding! Nice score and well worth the price for all!

Thanks
Yeah, I am pretty happy with the items I got, wasn't in any hurry to get them, just stumbled into a good deal. The brinly decal on the plow looks much better in person, took pics with a cell phone and turned out a little blurry. The part number on the plow was B 70-212, not really sure what that means if it means anything at all. On the other side of the plow the big oval brinly decal is there, just faded so bad you can hardly read it. Looked over the items a little closer today, there for sure are no markings what so ever on either the disk or cultivator, the cultivator only has 3 tines on it and a couple of them are slightly bent, still useable though. I doubt I ever use it, but will eventually get it sand blasted and repainted so at least it looks nice, as well as doing the same for the rest of the equipment. But first, the tractor needs to get a hitch, a few more fine tuning adjustments, and of course a nice paint job!
