Hello to everyone
I have been looking and learning from your site and it is just awesome. I have almost junked my old cub in the past as the parts became unavailable from my dealer who was very little help, wanting to sell a new one, but I kept it running on a repair and run and repair basis. After looking at the archives and seeing what can be done with these tractors it gives me an urge to give back to this faithful old machine instead of chucking it in the back corner of the barn till needed again. I could go on but for now I thank you all for letting me join your group. This is the first group I have joined and I find it rather confusing but I hope to soon pick up on how it works. Have a good day Ken

Thanks for the welcome. I will take pictures of my 127. I hope I can figure out how to post them. I am really new to forums and am having a big learning experience in trying to use this site. I have helped a few of my friends fix their mtd's and sears and I soon realized what a treasure I had. One of them said I should google cubs and found your great site. After looking at the wealth of information that everyone is so willing to share I knew that I wanted to join even if I dont have anything to contribute. I am getting the urge to do some proper repairs instead of the hacking I have been doing to the cub for the past 25 years. I cant start now as I need the thrower to work.
thanks again for the welcome Ken |

I was looking at the fun of a plowing match with the cubs. I now regret giving my plow and cultivator away, but the person who sold me the tractor didn't give me the hitch and not knowing how to hook them on I tried making up something that I thought might work and it failed so I gave them away. I always used my troybuilt tiller so I really wasnt interested at the time till now. It sure would be neat to plow so maybe I will come and spectate. I really enjoy the pictures of the projects and they do help with assesing the condition of my machine.
Keep up the good work Ken |

Hey Camper
Thanks for keeping the 127 alive:Bowdown2: We all know they don't and never will make them like they use too. Have you thought about attending a swap meeting or two in the states this summer? Great place to pick up new and used parts at real good prices:bigthink: Have fun with your Cub and I'll do my part to keep keeping:High5: them alive. |
