Plow Lift Bracket Interference

2 Attachment(s)
I just got a 719-3093 lift bracket for a future plow purchase and went to install. I noticed it is contacting the bolt heads that hold the lift bushing to the frame. This is not allowing it to be fully installed so the bolts can pass through. Is there something I am missing here?

Is that on backwards?

I am not sure how it could go on the other way since the hole on this side is not large enough and only clearance for a grease gun.

That is the correct way

Is there something else that could be causing my issue that you can see? Different screws required for the bearing, incorrectly drilled holes in the lift bracket?

Move it out about 1/8"

Then the mounting bolts won't be able to be installed. In their current state with the bracket rubbing on the bearing bolt heads they cant be installed.

Oh well, I never had an issue with mounting it. You may have to get some pan head bolts and install them.

Yep, pan head bolts or I have ground down the hex head and coated it with zinc rich paint. I'd use some antiseize on your socket head screws and the hex head bolts if you go that route because you wont be able to put a lot of torque on them in the future.

I would remove one of those bolts and have a looksee that maybe the hole is chamferred for a flat head bolt.
Even if not, you can countersink the hole and put in new flat head bolts. Eezee Pezee!

The 2 Cyclops that I have both have Pan Head screws but I don't think the bolts are your problem, I think that the hole that the bolt that holds the lift arm on the shaft is drilled in the wrong location. I would counter sink the bolt holes as Ironman suggested. Pics of my 2 Cyclops and the dimensions of pan head and hex head bolts.
