2166 shop manual
 

Anyone know where I can get one online? I can only find pre-2000 and post 2010 shop manuals for the 2000 series, 2000 to 2003.

Thanks. That one is the 1999 and earlier manual for the 2000 series. Unfortunately the 2166 didn't come until later.

Arggggg. That's the same one, 1999 and earlier.

I'll take whatever shop/service/chassis manuals there are specific to the 2166, or that at least includes it. There is an 11 year gap in between the 1999 and 2010 shop manuals for the 2000 series, and that gap is where my 2166 falls.

There is a time and procedure manual for the 2166. 770-10415

What is in a Time and Procedure manual? And the cover of that booklet doesn't say what years it covers so it may not cover 2000-2003 or my model either, like the rest.

It shows you how long it will take to do and how to remove the part that needs fixing on it.
It covers the 2166, what years I do not know, as I do not have your model number.

This the one you need??

well if it covers the 2166 it covers the 2166, which was only made for 3 years it seems. I found a copy of it and it will be helpful. I don't see any mention of the 2166 in it but it it will still help. They tell you to go to the Service Manual 772-4232 for more info, which does not cover the 2166 specifically.

So I'm better off, and might have everything I need, but I'm still puzzled why nothing mentions 2166. .

There prolly were Cub Cadet updates to the service manual but are on a cd?

Spec sheet data has info on settings on engines and tractor.

That's the one I already had, that only covers newer models, but it also appears to be one of several I need since MTD has 2166 info scattered across the whole wide world!


That has some useful numbers in it. I may have just about everything now, except for that CD...

Your local dealer may have the info you need on the cd. Not sold on ebay...
