Guess what I bought tonight?
This tractor was a local find. Somewhat beat up but may be a parts machine. Pics tomorrow.

1450??:bigthink:

My guess is that it is a tractor you bought locally that's beat up and might be a parts machine. Maybe a 1450? How did I do?

Oh, a 1250. Good for you! I keep looking. Nothing but overpriced tractors around me on c-list. And most are junk like the 1650 pic I posted. I just want one with hydraulic lift to put the snow blade on.

Your slacking Beth!
I have bought two QL's in the last month! (Or so....) A parts machine? Must be rough.... :WWP: |
:bigthink: I guess a 1250.:biggrin2: You go girl...:beerchug:

Actually, the tractor has some issues but with some TLC it can be a very nice machine again. It really isn't too bad looking. Bllwnkl is looking for a nice hydro machine with a hydraulic lift... he may want this after I have gone through it. |
Nice Beth. It would be interesting to see production numbers on 1250s that rolled off the line with hydraulic lift. Kind of like how many 129s had it too. We see most of the 14s and 16s with them but not so many 12s. Good find Beth.
PS I should have known as I gave you that name and was actually going to guess another 800 :beerchug: |
Lol. I guess the Deere counts.
I'm the slacker. I have a bunch of tractors that don't run. Lance comes next week with a trailer load though. Including an engine that will be going in the 982. Hopefully I'll have it up and running soon. So, you're going to flip this one? |
If 1250's could smile, your new acquisition would be grinning from headlight to headlight and very excited to be one of the chosen added to your Cub collection. EVERY QuietLine wants to go to Beth's house, after all you are Queen of the QuietLines ! Congratulations on the new toy!

Seriously, you don't like the 800 because it has a small engine and it's gear drive? I like gear drive tractors. My 1050 has become one of my all time favorite tractors. But, I do think it will get a 14hp soon, lol. But I use that tractor pretty heavy in the garden. Believe it or not, that wore out 10 has ran the 2B tiller every year for 3 years now I believe. Pulls the guts out of it. :biggrin2: |

I bought the 800 a few years back basically to complete my collection, But decided to start selling some stuff and replace it with the tractors I like. I had a 108 w/creeper and my first tiller(geez was that thing heavy even with the spring assist!). The K241 did just fine running the tiller. The tiller is still on the shelf but the 108 was sold decades ago. |

Here is the Saturday night special! :biggrin2:
After I run the news ones for awhile, I park them on cardboard to check for leaks...and to keep for floor clean! This one does not leak....YAY! |
Not too shabby! Congrats!!!:beerchug:

Randy...it is not out of fluid...otherwise it would not move or actuate the hydraulic lift. |
