Worked on her today put new foot rest and bolts on. Gas cap with gauge new screws on dash and hydro knob. Battery cables painted hood ornament. Washed and waxed. Still waiting for new seat.

Thanks for the kind words. No decals I like it without. Someone replaced them at one time and put them on the side panels instead of on the hood took them off cleaned residue off with goo gone

You should decal it. Just because someone did it wrong shouldn't scare you from doing it right. You did all that work, now finish it right.

I feel the same way. After mowing with my 1211 and 782 I don't think I could ever go back to mowing with one of my older Cub's.

She looks great as is. If you do not want to run decals that is your decision. Like I always say your tractor build it to suit yourself.
