Was wondering that too? Thought at first it was controlling the rear lift but saw the handle too so not sure. Interesting repower too

Looks like they reworked the brakes to work off the right hand pedal. The brake rod does not go into the frame at the usual spot where the rear end and frame mate. It appears the right hand pedal goes through the frame and connects to the brake rod on the left side.

What would make it more interesting would be a serial number. If I had the room, I'd get it just because :biggrin2:
