You know we want plenty of pictures!!:biggrin2::biggrin2: Did you get the pump with it?:bigthink: |

Edit- if you zoom in you can see quick couplers on the hoses which leads me to believe it was power by the tractor pump. |

I think you better buy the pump.......???? :bigthink:

Good deal Tim, hopefully you will not have a lot in it when your finished refurbing it.

Congrats Tim on the loader steal. I have the same loader on a 1650 and we really like it. The wife uses it almost daily for yard and garden work. I noticed that the bucket looks like it has had the mounts modified where the tilt cylinders are attached. One thing I do not like about mine is when the bucket is curled back it will spill out much of the load. I have a set of cylinders with a longer stroke and am thinking of adding them and re doing the mounts to tilt the bucket back farther. The longer stroke will still allow full dump of the bucket. Please get some more pictures when you pick it up. Also my loader uses a quick connect on the line from the pump to control valve. If you want send me a PM with your email and I will send you a PDF copy of the owners manual for it.
Later Tom |
I was planning to go pick this up on Sunday but then I realized it was father's day so that plan went out the window. I'm now planning to go get it tomorrow after work, it will make for a long day but I think it's worth it. I will get off tomorrow at 3:30 and it's 2hrs and 45 minutes each way, if all goes well I should be home by 10.

Good deal Tim!:beerchug:
You're an hour closer than me. |

Just notice that post....DAM! Talk about a great score!
I wish we add a "great score" section to this forum so we can tell who are the most lucky "mother flower". As far I'm concern my greatest score was Sylvie and she was amazing...:biggrin2: |
After 7hrs I'm back home and the loader is on the trailer. The guy I bought it from was very nice and I felt a little bad because he found out how much they are worth after I had already bought it, he was glad that I was buying it to keep and wasn't going to flip it. When I got there I found out he was planning to keep the pump but he let me look at it so I could see how it mounted and then he offered it to me for another $50 which I was fine with. The frame looks to be in very nice shape, there's no patches and I don't see any cracks, the bucket is really nice except the top is bent a bit but will be easy to fix. The cylinders have some rust but I'm hoping they clean up enough to no leak.

Well Tim, sounds like you got one heck of a deal right there.:beerchug:
If those cylinders are pitted bad enough, you're S.O.L., they'll leak. Did you price out new ones just in case, or price to rebuild?:bigthink: |
