Bought this right around the corner. Came with 8 IH carriage bolts and a pair of cast weights too!!:beerchug::beerchug: PTO engaged. Then it spit the damn fiber washer right off the flat bar. Would not disengage so I slipped the belt off for now. Not sure if it is a Lew price. Paid a Benjamin for it. Not a keeper. But it is a hydro.....:bigthink:

I think you did well. Congrats!

Nice Steve. You've got the fever pretty bad these days. I've seen a lot of configurations of people putting car batteries in our Cubs but that's quite inventive. Looks like what I normally pick up and for more money so you did well.

I think you did very well. I can't even find an MTD Craftsman for a $100 in my neck of the woods. :beerchug:

Me either..
just got a (nother brand) machine today, went farther and paid more than that.... And it is blown up.only reasons why I went after it were that it looked pretty clean in the pix and I happen to have an identical engine sitting here that runs, that I am tired of tripping over, so now it will finally have a home..... Hope to flip this one to make a few bucks to put towards my Cub 129.
(The one I got today is an Ariens and it doesn't seem like you guys want to hear aboutTecumseh engines haha)
Besides its engine shaft goes the wrong way, comes out of the bottom instead of the side which automatically makes it junk.....

Nice- dirty means it's been working. 125s are great tractors.

That's what I was thinking. The bolts are like adding sprinkles over ice cream.:biggrin2:

 Bye bye! Away the 125 went down the road with a very nice gentleman 8 decades young. No, not kidding. Said it was his first purchase off Craigslist. Has 2 other 125's he wants to keep alive. Got my price. Kept the weights. Did not ask much. Still kind of bitter sweet.:bigthink:

jaynjeep 06-04-2017 01:30 AM

Yeah... it kinda sux to actually sell one doesn't it!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

But you did good Steve!! anytime you get to buy or sell cubs and or cub parts it's a good day!:beerchug:

Plus you got a set of weights out of the deal and helped another Cubber out in the process!!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Rescue11 06-04-2017 10:19 AM

Ahh youll get over it. You basically got wheel weights free, probably made money. You got to meet another cubber and im sure hes tickled to have that machine. Kinda makes you feel like getting in the business doesnt it...? But deals like that only happen all the time for 1 member on this site.

Good job!
