It's an IH Cub Cadet Day!!!

Look what I hauled in today!
A real straight looking 70 and a 126 with creeper and electric/hydraulic lift. I am pumped! The 126 is fairly hammered. Both tractor clutches are blowed to pieces. Also an extra 38 inch deck and K181 engine. Not sure what I am going to do. No money for much right now. But these puppies were FREE!!!!!!!! Both came from a neighbor. He already scrapped another. It was either a 72 or 73:bash2:. He could not remember for sure. Also an extra carb and a Cub Cadet weight box! |

Some shots of the 126.

Congrats on the new cubs.:beerchug:

Nice finds, Steve!
|
Wow, two really great Cubs, with some excellent options!
Do either of them have three point hitches? It shouldn't take but a few bucks to get the engines running and see what you have. Selling one could finance getting the other in shape or keep them both and nickel & dime them back together. FWIW, the 126 lift is electric, no hydraulics involved. Great score! |
Wow, great finds!:beerchug:
|
Wow congratulations. Some guys can fall into whatever and come up with something yellow and white and you did it for free.
|
Wow, good deal there! Congrats!!:beerchug:
They don't cost anything just sitting around, keep both and work on them when you can! |
Nice haul!!! :beerchug:
|
Free! Lucky, that is awesome
|
You did well Dirty Steve, are they keepers?
|
NICE SCORE!:beerchug:

Good deal! I like the electric lift, never seen but a couple in person. Guess I'll have to put that on my "want" list.

Thanks everyone. My neighbor offered these to me a couple months back. He just wanted them gone. I believe they are keepers. I would like to eventually get the 126 in mowing condition over the next few years so the kids can run them some day. The 70 is pretty nice. That would look good puttin around the yard pulling the #1 cart. Been a pretty good day. Got 4 ton of coal delivered this morning. Set for the winter now. Went hunting with some friends this afternoon and scored a nice buck. Come out with a bad leg. Will make nice eating. :beerchug:
|
Yep, it's unanimous. YOU SUCK.:beerchug:
Good haul Steve, congrats on the free trailer full of goodies.:beerchug: |
Man you are riding on the crest of the wave lately. Two cubs and a buck plus warmth for the winter man you are set. I guess you could be known as meat, heat and two seats.
|
:biggrin2:lol :biggrin2: Meat, heat, and two seats, that's rich.
|
Way to go Steve! You can find me another one seeing as how you find nice Cubs at great prices. (Steve found my 1882 for me)
|
That's great! What a haul!I'd be all over that 126 for sure! The 70 looks like it has promise as well!
Very nice! :IH Trusted Hand: |

Not much to update on these tractors except my neighbor dropped off some more pieces he found. Couple rims and a front pto/clutch pulley. The clutch pulley is "out of round". Could be worse.
One rim had a odd dent from the inside of rim toward outside of the bead edge. After he left I figured out why. Took a rifle round. :crap: Oh well. I don't think I need a spare rim at this time but free is free!:beer2: |
What do you want to nuthin, somethin?:biggrin2:
Mount the wheel on the wall, and wrap your compressor hose around it.:biggrin2: |
