Headlights Now
I finally put the headlights on one of my Originals. I mounted them low, I think they look good. :biggrin2::beer2::beer2::beer2:

Thanks guys,
When I drilled the 1/2 hole for the light switch by the directions, it hit right on the steering column. I don't think there is enough room to put it there. Now I have to find a dash tower.:bash2::bash2::bash2::bash2: |

Mr. Todd, of course I was in a hurry and measured from the wrong side. I have the switch in the right place now and will just put a plug there and weld it. I have one more thing to do, install the creeper and she will be finished. Here again is the one I liked so much. I will get close but have to put my sig. to it? http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/q...psc6jbw3ur.jpg |
Okay, slow down next time. Measure, then re measure, and for s&*^s and grins measure again.:beerchug:
Lights don't look right, it's kinda like having your ears down by your shoulders... Not hackin on it, just saying what I think is all.:TwoCents: I always say what I think, good bad or different, just how it is. If your happy, then it's all good.:beerchug: |

You did a great job Ambrola! It's clean like a plate just getting out of a dishwasher! |
looks good,I think they mount them higher so the lights can see over the snow plow better.

One of these? They are handy to have around the shop.:beerchug: It's all good Ronnie. I wouldn't consider myself a purest per say, that's why it was called a "face lift" and not a restoration. Even at that the correct police had to come in and threaten me with fines and jail time...:biggrin2: That's what makes this "hobby" what it is, each person puts their own spin on their tractors. BUT if it's going to be a "restoration" it best be as it rolled off the assemble floor, or in some cases better... Or the cops will be cruising around your neighborhood.:biggrin2: At least your going to use yours, my "poor" tractor sits dry in the house. |

Before I buy a couple of those bits, what brand do you use? I don't want to mess up and get a cheap set. I would like them to last. BTW, I split the tractor last night and got the creeper installed. Now I only have to put all the rest of it back together. Oh, and still have to put my new clutch in. |

I've read this before zippy1....I'd like to see that pic. been thinking about setting the little lady's chair on the porch and putting a cub beside my chair ? |
I am done for now. See that little silver shifter? Can't tell you how much work that was. Now it just needs a good cleaning, hiding the wires and tightening some bolts.

Don't want to jump on Ronnie's thread, so go to page 945 of "What did you do to your cub today.":beerchug: |

Believe me Todd, if I could get it in my living room, I would. I used to put my Harley in the house when I was a kid. Watch TV and admire the old Pan Head. |
