Cub collectors in NY
I pretty new to the world of cub collecting, and wondered if there are any other members of this forum here in NY.
I'm located in the Elmira area. |
Not very far from you. About an 1hr northeast of you. I live in Cortland NY.:beerchug:
|
Very familiar with Cortland area, helped build the Brockway museum. I get up that way quite frequently. Where are you located?
|
I am located about 1/2 mile up RT 90 out of Homer NY. I actually live in Homer and have a Cortland address. No idea why. It's actually called the Living History Museum. :beerchug:
|
Yes it is indeed. Most of us that volunteered every Saturday during the renovation were part of the Brockway truck owners group, so that's how we always think of it. Next time I know I'll be heading that way, I'll send you a message. Perhaps we could meet.
|
Anybody else in NY.?
|
Sounds like a plan. Let me know a day or so in advance.

I see there are several cub owners from Western NY area. Y'all are a little farther south than I am. I'm up in Wyoming county in Warsaw. Used to live up north by the Adirondacks. Can't say that I am much of a collector YET as I only have a 1210 and a #2 cart.
|

Hi there. I'm from Rochester area. I've had my first cub for 23 years now. Just started this year accumulating several of them. It started with getting my second one for spare parts, but in the past year I have now got 5. All the cyclops series and I can't seem to get enough of them.

I'm in Hudson Valley Middletown, NY. I have a CC1450 with 38" deck, 42" blade, QA36" Snow Thrower, and I welded an adjustable Back Blade together from a old Propane tank, to mount on a sleeve hitch off of a Brimley Mould Plow assembly. Future modifications designing an independent Rear Hydraulic Lift.

Transplant to central NY 5 years ago (Ithaca then Dryden) from Central Virginia.
Finally bought a house and able to buy a cub which I have wanted since I had to sell my grandpa's 1200 that was too big to use or store at my parents house. Not necessarily a collector just someone restoring an excellent 1450 machine to use. |
Hi everyone, I'm Scot, originally from Waverly NY, Southern Tier, and I've now been in Rochester for 25 years.
I had a non-running model 147, but sold it due to space constraints. Ive since solved that problem, and Im planning to look for an Original this year! :) Scot |
