IH 3312 (lawnboy) project
3 Attachment(s)
As most of you know I picked up an ih 3312 that I plan to restore, I already found decals and should have enough left over paint from the 1811 to get it done. The engine runs but it makes some noise which after a bit of research is probably caused by a worn out lower crank bushing, the popular repair for this is to have the case machined out to accept a bearing. My issue is trying to find hard parts for it and I'm hoping someone here happens to know what model lawnboy would be the same to help in finding parts. Here's some pics to start off this project.

Olds,
I could be a mile off here, but as a kid in the 50's, seems like power products was tied to Tecumseh products and lawnboy was in there too, it might give you something to google till a more knowledgeable person replies than I am. |
Tim,
I googled it.seems like the d600 engine is the same as lawn-boy. |

Keep searching, you will find it I am sure.
Tim, check here, these were made the same year as your IH mower. https://www.partstree.com/parts/lawn...7222-and-7261/ |
Stop by NAPA and ask to see their Outdoor Power Equipment catalog commonly called the small engine catalog. There is a Lawn Boy model reference chart in it. It's probably the same as a 72xx Lawn Boy.
