Get these off eBay. Rear end Braces, new never used. $110 shipped.

R Bedell 03-10-2016 04:48 PM

Is this for discussion, or is this a eBay listing with no link...??

Sam Mac 03-10-2016 04:48 PM

How about a link?

j4c11 03-10-2016 04:59 PM

It's gone.

Alvy 03-10-2016 05:12 PM

I'm thinking it's gone because he bought it. Nice score Jason

Sam Mac 03-10-2016 05:20 PM

Looks like the first design that I did. I wonder if it was a set that I sold that someone didn't use? Oh well the design has been improved since that early one. :beerchug:

I don't know how you and George can type that. I tried to jump in but
I can't.
I laughed so hard my kids came to see what was so funny.
Actually if I just say out loud, what you two typed it sounds like my neighbor!:biggrin2:

Alvy 03-10-2016 09:02 PM

I don't think it's funny or necessary at all. This has happened too many times. I have a friend that has trouble getting his thoughts out on paper or email, text, etc.

You guys constantly rib him when he posts and this coming from moderators isn't cool.

How about we help him figure it out instead of mock him each time? Hes got a lot of cub knowledge and a vast collection and I for one actually learn some things from him and I would hate for someone to stop posting as much because of it. Do what you wish but this is my .02

What he said. If you want to get out the red pen we're all in trouble.

J-Mech 03-11-2016 12:13 AM

This isn't paper. It's a keyboard. You can read before you post. You can edit before you post. It's laziness, not lack of ability. Hell, if you spell the word wrong, it highlights it in red. You can right click and it will tell you how to spell it. Yeah, yeah, maybe he is posting from a phone... mine has spell check. I assure you, there is no excuse to be that unclear unless you just don't care to be. It's absolutely unnecessary to screw up a sentence that bad. A lot of knowledge does no one any good if you can't communicate it.

:High5: what he said...
On the braces, what's the big deal where he got them? He got them off ebay for a heck of a deal, what's not to like about that? :bigthink:

That brace set will fit Pre Cyclops Supers. For the Cyclops Supers the front corner of the square plate needs to be trimmed to clear the fender.

As far as where or who they came from I was just curious. If you have any other questions I'll try to help.

JLM78 03-11-2016 09:46 AM

OK I have A Spare Rear End Its A Cyclops super one . One of my 1572s has bolts broke off in the rear end. I would like to know if I can put the Axles And Axles tubs off my 1572s on this rear end ? Or are the Cyclops Axles and tubes better ?

My Computer don't Highlight miss spell words

darkminion_17 03-11-2016 09:55 AM

If you right click on the mouse when posting it will show a drop down menu, sometimes you have to put a checkmark next to check spelling to turn it on.
Not sure about the rear but the axle tubes are different.

Sam Mac 03-11-2016 10:37 AM

I like the Cyclops axle tubes better. I'd just put the complete Cyclops rear under your 1572. :beerchug:

Sam Mac 03-11-2016 11:00 AM

If you do the Cyclops rear it would be a good time to also replace the drive shaft with the CV style. Jeff in PA can furnish the adapters for the engine and the pump then all you would need is a drive shaft from an 1863 or 1864 and the fan.

Your close enough that we can understand.
I used to think I was a good speller till I got spell check.
Now I type something (1 finger mind you) and when I hit "spell check" the lights dim in the house, Ha,LOL!
So it goes, we all can't be good @ everything, ----( but I'm the best I know) -----------and I'm not conceited one bit either:biggrin2:
At least you have the fortitude to try, a lot of people would just give up or not try at all.
The stupidest question, is the one not asked, then no one learns the answer.:beerchug:

Keep on posting Jason, don't worry what others think, not right to make fun of someone, for those that do it, you know who you are.

Billy-O 03-11-2016 08:39 PM

I like your posts, Jason. Keep 'em coming and don't worry about what others think!

red56turbo 03-11-2016 09:02 PM

Jason,
Nice score on the braces.

As far as the spelling, I agree with Alvy and the others. I see no problem with it. Keep posting away. As you see most support you and your posts. This is one of the main reasons I lurk, read, and post sparingly anymore, the belittling attitude. We are first told how to post a question. And now we are told how to spell? Cub Cadet garden tractor forum last I checked. Not a spelling bee. I just sit back scratching my head sometimes and wonder why? Just sayin'. Off the soapbox. :beerchug:

x2.

It's sad that people can be so mean on this forum.
We all have something to share and we all communicate differently.
I'm still new here, but I'm not new to IH or IH forums.
I've seen more "attitudes" on this forum than I have on any others.

If you can't say something nice...............

Cub Cadet 123 03-12-2016 12:22 AM

I guess I am naive, because I do not understand what's up with the spelling of posts/threads. As long as I can make out what the author means, its not a problem. If it is, I can always ask for clarification if needed. Not a problem, just an opportunity.

I cannot help but wonder what the ancient Egyptians used to check their spelling on the pharaoh's walls?:bigthink:

Not looking to piss in anyone's Cheerios, so let's get that out of the way. I'm guilty as the next person, where I spell one word that means something else, but you know what I'm talking about...
But if you (you, as in a poster) are asking a question how are those that you ask to help supposed to understand unless it's clear to the reader of said post? "How to post a question"
Spelling isn't one of my high points, but it's at least a good thing to get it close. Again so that those that are reading it can understand what they are talking about. I NEVER understand the I guess they are texting shorts for words. IIRC, is one I do know, and that's about it.
Just take your time and think about what you're wanting to ask, use punctuation every so often, and let it roll. I type with one finger and thumb, so there is no speed typing which makes mistakes/errors less. Plus spell check helps out.:biggrin2:
For the record, I used spell check (6) six times for this post, and most words are at least an grade school level...:bash2: it is what it is, just take your time and enjoy.:beerchug:

Glad to learn I'm not alone Todd! I use my index and thumb of each hand too!:beerchug:

I'm the professional spell check user here, no one beat me and almost no one understand half of what I write! Not been a native English spelling person give me a excuse but I will not act like a "Drama queen" if one of the fellow here start kidding me about it.

You all know each others here but some of you act like they are fighting in a schoolyard. I think JLM78 is old and smart enough to defend himself if something is bothering him. No one insult him as far I understand your language.

In the end the OP got the answer he was asking for and that's all that count so let's hug each others and turn that page...:beerchug:

PS: No kissing or a$$ licking tolerated :biggrin2:
