What is one thing you wish your cub had but doesn't?

Hypothetical question of course, since I've got nothing better to do with my Cub as it sits in the garage with no growing grass to cut or snow falling to push.

What is one thing you wish your cub could have but doesn't?

If you've got more than one, pick one. Just play along for the sake of winter doldrums.

I'll start. I'm going to say power angle for my snow blade. I don't mind the armstrong lift (since the E lift is way long gone) but not having to get off the tractor to change the blade angle would be great.

twoton 12-16-2015 08:27 PM

Diesel power.

olds45512 12-16-2015 08:42 PM

id have to go with power angle also, id rather have power angle than power lift.

More ground clearance for the front gauge wheels on the 60" Haban under the 2072. They hit the gravel drive pretty hard between my house and dad's.

john hall 12-16-2015 09:34 PM

I wish there was a way to lock the deck in the raised position on my 982 so I could use the 3pt hitch. I used to run a small Deere compact tractor that had that feature by installing some lock pins.

bbrown8 12-16-2015 09:38 PM

Hyrdro Lift. I think I'm going to have a beefy right arm after this winter. Then again winter might not come and I won't complain.:beerchug:

cadzag72 12-16-2015 09:53 PM

Four wheel drive.

Cub Cadet 123 12-16-2015 09:59 PM

More traction when I am stuck in the snow spinning my tires with chains. I've tried to remedy the problem by going on two diets since one diet didn't give me enough to eat, but it's not working fast enough.

I was going to say a locking differential but 4 wheel drive would be a better wish

I'll go with that, but for my 1872:beerchug:

ivel03 12-16-2015 11:35 PM

I wish that the 3pt was independent of the hydro lift when i'm running my front blade. It would be so much handier that way. I've seen some mods to add a separate cylinder for the 3pt - maybe someday...

cub

The ability to get the decks to lift higher, limited slip, better front bearings. Cheaper tires, it's awful when they cost more than a car tire. Come to think about, that's a scary thought. Mike:biggrin2:

ol'George 12-17-2015 09:41 AM

That sounds like a plan.:biggrin2:

cadzag72 12-17-2015 11:54 AM

I'd rather have someone else take care of other duties so I could mow the grass! Love that 2 hours of peace. :biggrin2:

Hydraulic lift on my 125. Definitely would beat Armstrong my brinly plow any day.

cubby102 12-18-2015 01:12 AM

Fresh paint would be awsome...that way I can start reassembling it

+1 and locking differentials!

drglinski 12-27-2015 12:31 PM

...at this point I'm going to say fresh snow to push or tall grass to mow. I haven't gotten any seat time in about 2 months. :bash:

Sprint60 12-28-2015 05:24 PM

A snow plow! I just got the 147 running and haven't found one yet.

I added a USB port already. Hate it when the ol' cell phone battery gives up in the middle of a book.

Why, this cab of course.

gsomersjr 12-28-2015 10:05 PM

My 782D would be more comfortable with foot control.

johns cubs 12-29-2015 01:36 PM

Heated seat and stearing wheel would be cool!
