I just drug this home for some unknown reason, I went out there hoping it was a 126 but it turned out to be a 106. Got it for $25.

Alvy 11-29-2015 02:32 PM

There you go Tim, that's my kind of tractor right there. Any plans?

Had it been a 126 I was planning to restore it but since it's just a 106 I'm going to part what's left.

Technically you don't look "home" yet. Waiting till after dark? :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

How would anyone know that it's not a 126 if you put a K301 in it? Does the serial tag tell that on the NF's or is it something else? I'm not much of a NF guy, just asking.:biggrin2:

The kind code on the tag is 0037 which is a 106, the kind code for a 126 is 0039. The kind code started with the 1x6/7 series.

If you really want a 126, I saw one on C-list the other day. It was in Indiana IIRC...... :bigthink:

The state of Indiana.... not your town. :biggrin2:

Does this person want too much for these 126s? Why isn't one "sitting" in your shed?

No he doesn't want to much I just don't really care for the 1x6/7 series tractors as much as the other nf tractors.

I actually had a 126 a few years ago but sold it to make room for my 108.

It's always important to use the proper tools when unloading. :beerchug:

The guy running the skid steer was concerned the strap would break and it would fall on the engine, I told him if it does I guess I will get a good laugh for my 25 bucks.:biggrin2:

Terry C 12-05-2015 08:53 PM

They lift pretty well by throwing a strap around the steering column
