Halloween score
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,
Picked up this 122 today, came with a couple goodies such as a creeper and a sleeve hitch. Also came with some attachments such as a QA-36 snowblower, a really nice cast end mower deck, a leaf vac with a 4hp Kohler, and my favorite, a front mount IH 59m chipper shredder with the subframe. It looks ugly and rusty but is pretty much all there and is straight and solid, it will run and is close to running, I had to change a few tires on it. Here are a couple before pics when we loaded everything up and before we washed everything. |

All good looking stuff Nickster, nice yob picking it all up. Cast end deck and other attachments look in nice shape and of course my fav, 59M worth the whole package. 122 with options as well, I think you did great on that haul. Get that baby running asap. Hope it's a non smoker for you but even if it is, still worth saving all of it.

congrats on the new toys. :beerchug:

You scored big Nick! You got it and not at a "frightful" price. The chipper shredder is nice, but that deck in original shape like that is almost too good to be true. Like my pumpkin, I bet you are grinnin' ear to ear!

Nice haul Nick:beerchug:
That money tree is still producing...:biggrin2: FYI, you can post more than one picture per post you know?:bigthink: |
Thanks guys, yes the deck is in unbelievable condition, Todd, it won't let me post more than one pic at a time.
Looks like it is going to need a clutch, I will pull the engine and fix it, another project for another day. |
You did good. Was all of that at the same place?

Nick, I hope you enjoy it! I look forward to bringing my boys by to see it run one day. All of this came with my house when I bought it, I never had time to get it up and running. Nick had apparently been emailing and PMing me since I posted about it in 2012!
Nick, his bro and dad were real gentlemen and yes, I knew they had a screaming deal, you guys were good about advising me of what it was worth back then. After Nick sent me some pics of his other Cubs, I knew he should own this stuff. And with my wife having cancer and having bills, the $ was put to good use bailing my family out. Enjoy the 122! At least I still have the Wheel Horse 502 to play with! |

Took the carb off yesterday and took it apart an it was BAD, probably the worst I have ever seen/worked on, I cleaned it out real good and replaced some parts and reinstalled it, still not getting any fuel because of the sediment bowl, I picked up a new one, I think the gas tank is leaking but I have another, it should start, just an update, more to come.
|
Installed the new sediment bowl and got it running, it runs great and doesn't smoke, took it for a ride after freeing up the clutch, everything works. :beerchug:

Looks like a very nice piece Nick. You better get another shed.
