Nice looking for an old, plain Jane tractor.

Looks good to me. How's the seat? It doesn't look too bad

Nice looking tractor to have such a ragged deck.. wonder if the deck is original to it?

darkminion_17 09-29-2015 07:24 PM

Thanks Jaynjeep.
I will take some pictures of it later.Kinda rotted out,but is is a 38"
I got it running today, needed a coil, and a set of points as they left the key on and fried them.

Its official,it is a smoker.Runs,drives charges,and leaves a trail of blue.

I deleted my other post as it is still a keeper for now.

Glad to hear it runs, drives, charges and at least with the trail of blue smoke you won't get lost.:bigthink::bigeyes:

Yeah, nice machine, but I couldn't imagine mowing a big yard with that hard seat. Mine only sees plow duty thank goodness.

I mow my 2 acres occasionally with a 72 mostly for the nostalgia of it... and its fun to use the little 7hp and 38" deck... but only for a little while.. that ole metal pan seat is pretty hard on the bottom and back!!:beerchug:

The 2182 and 60" Haban is WAY faster and more comfortable!!:beerchug::beerchug:

The smoking is what keeps the mosquitoes at bay.
