Very nice find. I'd like to find another 149. One that doesn't blow blue smoke nonstop. :biggrin2:

:HeeHee:Sam: Didn't your sail boat have a tiller on it ? :bigthink: CSXengr, Nice picture of your new worker.

Nice clean 149! Did it come with a mower deck or anything else?

I'm a CSX engr too, up here on the Baltimore Division! :beerchug:

Yes I picked up the mower deck and snow plow or blade(what ever it's called). They are not in very good shape but that will change. I worked on the Florence Division for 43 years. Started when it was SCL and worked out of Hamlet, NC all my career. I love trains just as much as I do Cubs just can't park them in my back yard! :beerchug:

There's a lot of things from my past, that I can't park in my back yard. :biggrin2:
But, now I'm getting too many cubs, back there. Plenty of room, but not enough strength or money to fix'um. need to get one or two finished, and sell! :bigthink:

Thanks everyone and yes I am happy with this worker. As a matter of fact as soon as I had it unloaded we tilled up a spot in the garden. I had planted beans in one spot which failed to come up. I reworked that spot and man was that sweet! I had the Brinly cultivator on the modest one in the background (129) and had the rows laid out in nothing flat. I love my Cubs. As you can see the guard is missing on the belt. I have contacted the PO hoping he still has it. If not I will place a want add. And maybe someone has a spare.

Did you happen to have any virgin NC red clay to till? Just curious what kind of problems I'll have when I try out my rebuilt tiller. Need to put finishing touches on the tractor first but will be trying the tiller soon after that.
